Photograph of the day - Nature (Skyscapes)

The picture on the left was taken on NH7 during the tea break. It must be around 5 O'clock in evening. Although the large cloud in this picture is captured reasonably well, it is felt that the power lines at bottom right corner look odd and are a distraction to the viewer. This picture was cropped from right and left side in order to remove the power lines. It is also cropped from right and top side in order to place, I would like to say, the crown of the cloud at the right place. It is quite likely that the original photo with power lines can be viewed in another angle than a skyscapes where the power lines make the viewer aware of the modern world.

Photograph of the day - Nature

This photo is taken in Cauvery Hostel Garden of IIT Madras on one fine Sunday morning. Plan was to go around the campus to capture nature with Amol's camera. Atul, along with me, also wanted to try his hands in order to learn a few more things about photography. Ultimately we ended up in spending whole of the morning in the hostel garden itself. It was a quite a revealation that this garden had so much to offer to a nature enthusiast. I will be grateful if anybody tells me name of this plant.

The sky was half overcast but the area in the frame was bright due to direct sun light of late noon.

HE is there everywhere, may it be the dashboard of car or the wall. He went with eyes locked on HIM.

The photo was taken on NH4 somewhere near Chitradurga (State of Karnataka) during a trip to Pune. It is posted earlier on the same blog.
