I like your photograph of the day series... really awesome pics... for special effects pics, if you put settigs for that pic then it will be helpful for readers... keep it up...
I don't give special effects to any of my photographs those I post here. In some cases, I give the original photo that I had clicked and one or two improvisations that I think give a better effect. In such cases, these improvisations are limited to cropping the photo horizontally and vertically - in other words, adjusting the FRAME and also its size in 2D in order to highlight the SUBJECT of the photo - and doing colour correction without compromising the originality of the photograph. I would like to call these actions as CORRECTIONS. Special effects is an altogether different brach of photography where I am too unskilled to display my experiments on the blog. I make every effort to share why I had taken the photograph, how the camera was set, which situation was prevailing - illumimation of object - and which corrections I have made during improvisation.
